From Rome’s Fiumicino airport
From the Fiumicino airport, take the Leonardo Express, the train that will take you from the Terminal to the Rome Terminus Station, where you can take a train to Naples.
Eurostar Freccia Rossa (TAV): A fast, comfortable train that takes you to Naples Garibaldi Station in just over an hour.
Italo (NTV): A fast, comfortable train that takes you to Naples Garibaldi Station in just over an hour either from Rome Tiburtina or from Rome Ostiense.
Intercity: These are the connecting trains traveling from Rome to Naples in approximately two hours.
Interregional: These are slow trains that cross the city stopping at every station, taking approximately 4 hours to go from Rome to Naples.
On arriving at the Central Station of Naples-Piazza Garibaldi, follow the signs for the Circumvesuviana toward Sorrento. You will be in Sorrento in approximately an hour; at the station you will find the Sita bus for Positano-Amalfi, and in half an hour you will be in Positano.
The bus stop is located in the highest part of Positano, so you have to continue with the internal bus to the lower part of town where the pedestrian zone begins.
When at the top of the pedestrian area of Positano, walk approximately 600 meters to the Spiaggia Grande (Main Beach) where the hotel is located. For luggage transport you can avail of the special porterage service (at a charge), located at the beginning of the pedestrian area.
From Rome’s Ciampino airport
On arriving at Rome Ciampino, you can take a bus that will take you to Rome Terminus and from there follow the directions noted above.

Another option is to go to the Rome Tiburtina Station and take one of the buses of the Marozzi line that connect Rome with Sorrento, where on reaching the station you must take the Sita bus toward Positano-Amalfi.

At the Alibus airport – exit terminal 1, purchase a ticket for the Bus. On arriving at the Central Station of Piazza Garibaldi take Circumvesuviana toward Sorrento. From Naples by sea
In summer there are convenient connections by sea with hydrofoils and ferries that leave from the Molo Beverello of Naples and dock in Positano. Here is how to reach the Molo Beverello from the airport of Naples Capodichino or the Central Station Piazza Garibaldi:
Alibus: from the airport, get off at the “Piazza Municipio” stop
Bus: From the Station of Piazza Garibaldi there are various types of public transportation that connect to the Molo Beverello (bus 601 or R2)

From the North
On reaching Naples, take the highway A3 Naples-Pompeii-Salerno, exit at the Castarmmare tollbooth in Stabia, then follow the signs for Sorrento – Positano – Amalfi.
Average travel time from Naples, approximately an hour.
On the Salerno Reggio, exit toward Vietri sul Mare and, following the coast, passing Cetara, Minori, Atrani, Amalfi and Praiano, along a narrow, winding road that is among the most attractive in the world, you arrive in Positano.
