How to reach us

  • What is the nearest airport?
    The nearest airport to Positano is Naples Capodichino Airport.
  • Can you arrange transport for me from Naples or Rome?
    Of course! We can arrange a private transfer from Rome and Naples airports or railway stations. To confirm the transfer, we require a written request sent by email, including your flight or train details (date, time and reference number). The English-speaking driver will wait for you at the arrivals gate or on the platform, holding a sign with your name on it. Please note that the cost of the transport service is paid directly at the hotel by credit card.
  • How to get to the hotel from Naples Capodichino

    From Naples Capodichino Airport, the easiest and most stress-free way to reach our hotel in Positano is to book a private transfer through our concierge service. You can contact him via Whatsappor email for full details.

    Alternatively, you may use public transport to reach Sorrento and then Positano. Therefore, you can choose between:

    • BY BUS ONLY

      At the airport, take the Curreri coach service towards Sorrento – Terminal 1 exit, buy a ticket on the bus, and you’ll be in Sorrento in about an hour. At the station, take the Sita coach towards Positano-Amalfi; you’ll arrive in Positano in half an hour. The bus stop can be found in the upper part of Positano, so you will need to take a local bus down to the lower part of the town, where the pedestrian zone begins. Upon reaching the start of Positano’s pedestrian zone, you will need to walk about 600 metres to Spiaggia Grande, where the hotel is located. For luggage transport, you can use the porter service (subject to a charge) located at the beginning of the pedestrian zone.

    • BY BUS and CIRCUMVESUVIANA

      At the airport, take the Alibus – Terminal 1 exit, buy your ticket on the bus. Once you arrive at Piazza Garibaldi Central Station, take the Circumvesuviana train towards Sorrento; you’ll be in Sorrento in about an hour. At the station, take the Sita bus towards Positano-Amalfi; you’ll arrive in Positano in half an hour. The bus stop is located in the upper part of Positano, so you will need to take a local bus down to the lower part of the town where the pedestrian zone begins. Upon reaching the start of Positano’s pedestrian zone, you will need to walk about 600 metres to Spiaggia Grande, where the hotel is located. For luggage transport, you can use the porter service (subject to a charge) located at the beginning of the pedestrian zone.

  • How to get to the hotel from Rome Fiumicino Airport ?

    From Rome Fiumicino airport, the easiest and most stress-free way to reach our hotel in Positano is to book a private transfer through our concierge service. You can contact him via Whatsapp or email for full details.

    Alternatively, you must first reach Napoli, then Sorrento, and finally Positano.

    From Fiumicino Airport, take the Leonardo Express, the train that will take you from the terminal to Roma Termini station, where you can catch a train to Naples:

    • Eurostar Freccia Rossa (TAV): a comfortable and fast train that takes you to Naples Garibaldi Station in just over an hour.
    • Italo (NTV): a comfortable and fast train that will take you to Naples Garibaldi station in just over an hour, departing from either Roma Tiburtina or Roma Ostiense.
    • Intercity: these are mid-range trains that connect Rome with Naples in around two hours.
    • Interregionali: these are slow trains that pass through towns and cities, stopping at every station, and take around 4 hours to travel from Rome to Naples.

    Upon arrival at Naples Central Station (Piazza Garibaldi), follow the signs for the Circumvesuviana line towards Sorrento. You’ll arrive in Sorrento in about an hour; at the station, you’ll find the Sita bus heading for Positano-Amalfi, and it’ll take you half an hour to get to Positano.

    Alternatively, you can take a bus that will lead you to Roma Termini railway station and from there follow the same directions provided to reach the hotel from Roma Fiumicino

    Another option is to travel to Roma Tiburtina station and board one of the Marozzi buses that run between Rome and Sorrento; from there, take the Sita bus towards Positano-Amalfi.

    • Coming from the North

      From the Salerno-Reggio motorway, take the Vietri sul Mare exit and follow the coast through Cetara, Minori, Atrani, Amalfi and Praiano along an extremely narrow and winding road – one of the most picturesque in the world – until you reach Positano.

      From Naples, the journey takes around an hour.

    • Coming from the South

      From the Salerno-Reggio motorway, take the Vietri sul Mare exit and follow the coast through Cetara, Minori, Atrani, Amalfi and Praiano along an extremely narrow and winding road – one of the most picturesque in the world – until you reach Positano.

  • How to get to the hotel from Naples by Sea?

    In summer, there are convenient sea connections by hydrofoil and ferry, leaving from Molo Beverello in Naples and arriving in Positano. To get to Molo Beverello from either Naples Capodichino Airport or Piazza Garibaldi Central Station, you can use the following transport options

    • Alibus: from the airport, get off at the "Piazza Municipio"
    • Autobus: from Piazza Garibaldi station, there are several public transport options connecting to Molo Beverello (bus 601 or R2)
    • Taxi: to Molo Beverello
  • What is the easiest way to get to the hotel if I’m arriving by boat?
    Covo dei Saraceni is one of the most convenient hotels overall if you arrive by sea, as the hotel is located practically on the main beach. Boats, taxi boats, and ferries dock at the Positano pier, right next to Spiaggia Grande. The distance from the hotel to the pier is approximately 50–100 meters. If you have many bags, please notify us of your arrival to organize the porter service.
  • Where is the hotel located? Is it close to the beach?
    Yes, the hotel is located in the heart of Positano, right on Spiaggia Grande. The views from the hotel are simply breathtaking: you’ll have the whole of Positano Bay spread out before you, with its spectacular sea and stunning colours, and the distinctive pyramid-shaped cluster of houses. Positano is a small, charming village. The main square in Mulini is a 5-minute walk away. From Piazza dei Mulini, a small white and orange bus called INTERNO POSITANO departs every 30 minutes. The fare is €1.80 per person. Alternatively, there is always a taxi available from Mulini.
  • Where can I find assistance with my luggage to get to the hotel in the pedestrian zone?
    Please contact us if you need help with your luggage; we can arrange a porter service (for a fee) from Piazza dei Mulini to your hotel.
